We invite you to become a sponsor of the longest-running Portland neighborhood event as well as the longest-running free jazz festival west of the Mississippi River. As a sponsor, your business will be included in all of our advertising and promotional materials, both printed and on-line.

The Jazz Society of Oregon’s ™ Cathedral Park Jazz Festival ™ features many Portland-based, nationally-known musicians. The entertainment offers a variety of jazz and blues music to showcase America’s original art form, Jazz. The festival is open to everyone.

There are many ways to support the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival. Because this festival is FREE, the non-profit Jazz Society relies on sponsors to help off-set the costs of production. To become a sponsor, you may donate money or donate products and/or services. We acknowledge our sponsors on radio, print, and Internet advertising.

Principle Sponsor –  $15,000 (one only)

 Friday Night Blues – $4,000 (one only)

  • Half-page ad in the festival program

  • Meet & Greet with musicians
  • Media exposure in all festival advertising

Saturday Jazz – $4,000 (one only)

  • Half-page ad in the festival program
  • 3 of your banners displayed on festival grounds (you must supply the banners)
  • VIP Tent: tickets for 8 (includes food, beer, wine, soft drinks)
  • One autographed commemorative posters
  • Meet & Greet with musicians
  • Media exposure in all festival advertising

Sunday Jazz – $4,000 (one only)

  • Half-page ad in the festival program

  • Meet & Greet with musicians

Benefactor – $2,000

Kids Like Music – $2,000

  • Half-page ad in the festival program
  • 2 of your banners displayed on festival grounds (you must supply the banners)
  • VIP Tent: tickets for 8 (includes food, beer, wine, soft drinks)

Patron – $1,000

  • Quarter-page ad in the festival program
  • 1 of your banners displayed on festival grounds (you must supply the banner)
  • VIP Tent: tickets for 6 (includes food, beer, wine, soft drinks)

Ambassador –  $500

  • Quarter-page ad in the festival program
  • 1 of your banners displayed on festival grounds (you must supply the banner)
  • VIP Tent: tickets for 4 (includes food, beer, wine, soft drinks)

Supporter –  $250

  • Eighth-page ad in the festival program
  • 1 of your banners displayed on festival grounds (you must supply the banner)
  • VIP Tent: tickets for 2 (includes food, beer, wine, soft drinks)

Since some sponsor benefits (such as acknowledgement in advertising) require advanced planning, there are slightly different benefits for sponsors who complete their agreement and send payment early (before March 31, 2017), and those who commit later.

Sponsorship agreements are not complete until payment is received. The final cutoff for sponsorship payments is July 3, 2017. Funds received after that date are gratefully accepted but we cannot guarantee sponsorship benefits.
