The Galen Clark Trio features Micah Hummel on drums (Quickly Quickly, Subtonic, Anna Tivel), Peter Knudsen on guitar (Ghost-Note, Mono Neon, Greaterkind) and Galen Clark on keys (Outer Orbit, Subtonic, Anna Tivel). The trio explores a blend of pocket heavy organ trio funk and psychedelic mind bending groove music. The resulting sound fuses organ trio classics with experimental electronic tinged jazz. 

Galen Clark is a keyboardist, songwriter, producer and educator based in Portland, OR. He leads the soul funk collective Outer Orbit and the groove heavy genre bending band Trio Subtonic and tours with Anna Tivel. He has also collaborated and toured with artists such as Sleater-Kinney, Sarah Clarke, Andy Coe and D'Vonne Lewis to name a few. Galen has contributed on several notable albums in the past few years including releases by Sleater-Kinney, Outer Orbit and Anna Tivel.

Since settling in Portland in 2018, he has become one of the city's most sought-after artists, captivating audiences with his soul-stirring performances and innovative approach to music. With each note, Rivarola invites listeners on a journey through the depths of human experience, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of contemporary jazz.
